Getting started with Exosite Portals

For a detailed description of the sign-up procedure and an introduction to the web interface of Exosite Portals please complete the Getting Started tutorial.

Create a device

Using the same steps as in the tutorial, create a new device. Select the generic device type and for the rest of settings just use the default values (Figure 1).

Create a dataport

Add a dataport for the device created previously. Select string as the data format and 'nordicsrc01' as alias, as shown in Figure 2.

Add a widget

Add a widget to your dashboard to display the data received from your development kit (Figure 3).
