Getting Started

Before proceeding with the instructions described here, follow the steps in the Getting Started chapter of the nRF51 Development Kit User Guide. You can download the nRF51 Development Kit User Guide from http://www.nordicsemi.com.

To test the development kit setup, we recommend that you use the Blinky Example. The steps that are described in Running a first example will walk you through testing your setup with the Blinky example.

After testing your setup, you should program a SoftDevice and run an example that uses the SoftDevice.
